The Champagne Bar at The Mira Moon Hotel | Hong Kong

The Mira Moon is a sleek and modern boutique hotel located centrally in Causeway Bay known for its quirky and creative designs and to celebrate the grand opening of its Champagne Bar on the 5/F, they are offering free flow Moët & Chandon champagne at $250 per person or Veuve Clicquot champagne at $295 per person from 6pm to 8pm daily! To top it off, they are also launching a daily bubbly afternoon tea set with 3 tiers of scones, savories and desserts for $198 per person from 3pm to 6pm.

I've driven pass this hotel many times but it was my first time visiting and didn't realized what a great view it had of the ICC across the Victoria Harbour. I came here for the free flow happy hour and it was certainly splendid sipping on champagne while unwinding after work. 

It would have been boring to just drink champagne without some canapés so this bouquet of Salmon Mousse Cone was perfect to nibble on with the bubbly!

We also snacked on the Eggplant and Mascarpone with roasted eggplant and olive oil caviar in the black spoon and Tuna Tataki with seared tuna and Piquillo pepper in the white spoon.

The Shrimp Skewers with salsa and grilled asparagus was light and refreshing to eat. 

My favorite canape of the night had got to be this Duck Habana Cilindro which was a duck spring roll shaped like a cigar complete with poppy seed to mimic the appearance of ash at the ends! Besides the gorgeous presentation, the spring roll was perfectly crispy while flavorful but not too oily.
